Franklin David Wells
Believer. Pray-er. Writer.

Franklin David Wells is not a pastor, theologian, or seminary graduate. He is a believer who loves God, prays for his family, and writes from the heart.

His prayer books grow out of a simple conviction: that the most powerful prayers are not composed by experts behind pulpits, but by ordinary men and women who have stood at the foot of the cross and asked God to show up. The Defender series was born not from study but from need — the need every parent and spouse feels when they sense their family is under pressure from forces they cannot see.

Franklin writes to give voice to the prayers that believers already feel in their hearts but struggle to find the words for. If you love God and want to pray boldly for the people you love most, these books were written for you.

From the Author

I don't have a theology degree. I don't stand behind a pulpit on Sunday. What I have is a family I love, a God I trust, and a deep belief that prayer is the most powerful thing any of us can do for the people in our lives. I write the prayers I wish I had found when I needed them most. My hope is that they do for your family what they have done for mine.
